October 20, 2011I am looking to build a new cage for my rig, but would like to get rid of my old one first.
The front half is all 1 3/4" dom .134 wall, along with all the supports also, the rear half is factory, & well gusseted. This cage is also set up to have the seats mouted to it. With that I used 1 5/8 tubing with a removable section. A,B, & C pillar`s are tied to the frame. Everyhting will go with it except the A pillar tie in, (Welded the lower control mounts around them). The seat belts tabs are also set up, so you can either Y type harness or H type harness, & all tabs are dbl sheer. Also it does come with a roof pan that is 1/8 sheet metal & covers just the front 2 ppl, & has a cb mount built in.
This cage will fit a YJ or a CJ with out the dash pad, & it does have the door bars in, to where you would have to climb over in order to get in.
As for who ever buys it I will be more than happy to remove the door & the kindney bars to make it easier to get in & out.
This cage is very strong & SAFE. Everyone that has seen it, in action knows that it will keep you safe. I have had it roll over 6 time & not once did I feel unsafe. I have even had it out a couple of times to do some misc stuff, & it would bolt right back in the same spot, so it not tweeked in any way.
This cage will fit under you factory hard or soft top.
Shipping will be on your dime. It weighs around 150lbs. My zip is 63052, so you can use that to get a quote.
The Tube Fenders are are made of 1 5/8" & are extended to go to a grille gaurd. They have also built in mount to the grille & drilled for the hood latches. They were designed to give the front a narrow look & to follow the hood line.
