October 1, 2011Let me describe the problem and see if people agree the clutch master cylinder is what I need?
I Have been having problems shifting when sitting at a red light or stop sign for a period of time, the lclutch will engage first gear and come out of gear easily but it wont go into the next gear and it seems the clutch pedal doesnt want to come back up the whole way(it doesnt stay on the floor, just doesnt come up the whole way). Then today while sitting in my drieway with the clutch and brake pushed in, the jeep engaged the trans, luckily i still was on the brake and it just stalled out. Pumped the clutch a few times and it was fine. The clutch has never slipped, and it always corrects with pumping the pedal so to me it seems as if the clutch master cylinder is leaking and allowing the slave cylinder to engage. I have checked the fluid level and it is full and not leaking.
If people agree, I need a clutch oaster cylinder for a 93 Wrangler YJ, it appeas as my research as led me that only one out of a 93 or 94 will work.
Any suggestions will be appresciated?
